‘Life Is Strange’ Casts Tom Cullen, Leisha Hailey, Raúl Castillo

The upcoming “Life Is Strange” TV series adaptation on Amazon Prime Video continues to build out its main cast, with Tom Cullen, Leisha Hailey, Raúl Castillo, and Owen Teague joining the lineup alongside Maisy Stella and Tatum Grace Hopkins. The show, based on the popular video game franchise, was announced to be in development at Prime Video in September 2025.

The series follows Max (Hopkins), a photography student who discovers she has the ability to rewind time while saving the life of her childhood friend, Chloe (Stella). As they delve into the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student, they uncover dark secrets in their town, leading them to a life-changing decision.

Tom Cullen takes on the role of Mark Jefferson, Max’s teacher, while Leisha Hailey portrays Joyce Price, Chloe’s mother. Raúl Castillo plays David Madsen, Chloe’s stepfather, and Owen Teague embodies Frank Bowers, a local drug dealer.

Cullen, known for his work on “Downton Abbey” and “Black Mirror,” will also be seen in HBO’s “House of the Dragon.” Hailey, recognized for her role in “The L Word,” is also a talented musician. Castillo’s credits include “Looking” and “Army of the Dead,” while Teague has appeared in “It” and “The Stand.”

The series is created by Charlie Covell, who also serves as executive producer and showrunner. Mackenzie Dohr will write and executive produce, with Karyn Kusama directing the first two episodes. The show is a collaboration between Square Enix, Story Kitchen, and LuckyChap, with Amazon MGM Studios producing.
