CWBChicago, a trusted source for original public safety reporting in the area, was founded in 2013 by residents of Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the accuracy of information provided at local Community Policing meetings. Over the years, CWBChicago has expanded its coverage to include neighborhoods like Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side areas. The mission of CWBChicago remains the same: to deliver detailed and contextual public safety reporting that goes beyond what mainstream media outlets provide.
