Bitget Bolsters Stock+ Platform With U.S. Stock Options Trading
Bitget Introduces US Stock Options Trading
Bitget, a leading crypto exchange, has recently launched US stock options, allowing its users to trade options on US-listed companies. This move positions Bitget as the world’s largest Universal Exchange, offering a wide range of trading options including crypto, contract-for-difference markets, and now US stock options.
In a note to Bitcoin Magazine, Bitget highlighted that it is the only major crypto exchange that provides US stock options alongside other traditional and crypto markets such as gold, forex, commodities, and indices.
The initial rollout includes long call and long put strategies for eligible users. A call option allows traders to take a bullish position on a stock, while a put option enables traders to express a bearish view or manage downside exposure. The risk for buyers is limited to the premium paid, with the possibility of an option expiring without value if the expected price movement does not occur.
This expansion of Bitget’s product line adds to its existing offerings, which include tokenized stocks and pre-IPO access to private market opportunities. Stock options now join the Stock+ platform, providing direct access to US equities for traders familiar with established stock market products and regulated market infrastructure.
Bitget’s goal of combining crypto, stocks, commodities, and other assets in one trading environment is further supported by the addition of US stock options.
Bitget: Riding the Wave of the Booming U.S. Options Market
The demand for listed options has been soaring, with the US options market processing over 15.2 billion contracts in 2025, averaging about 60 million contracts per trading day. This surge in options trading reflects the increasing use of options among retail and institutional participants for various trading strategies and risk management.
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, stated, “We are at the forefront of connecting stock opportunities with our users. From tokenized stocks to now options, we are bridging the gap between traditional and crypto markets. Our products offer advanced trading access to a diverse range of assets.”
The initial release of single-leg options buying serves as an entry point for users, with plans for additional functionality, including multi-leg strategies, in the pipeline as the Stock+ options product evolves.
To incentivize users, eligible traders who complete their first US stock options trade may receive $15 in NVIDIA stock, subject to campaign terms and regional availability.
With over 125 million users and access to a wide range of assets including crypto tokens, tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, foreign exchange, and precious metals like gold, Bitget continues to expand its offerings and solidify its position in the market.
Bitget has also established partnerships with MotoGP and UNICEF, the latter aimed at promoting blockchain education for 1.1 million individuals by 2027. The company leads the tokenized traditional-finance market in 150 regions, showcasing its commitment to innovation and global reach.
