CNN’s Erin Burnett Has Jaw-Dropping Observation About Trump’s FIFA Drama

In a segment on CNN, Erin Burnett pointed out President Donald Trump’s lack of knowledge about soccer despite his involvement in FIFA’s decision to overturn U.S. striker Folarin Balogun’s red card suspension before a World Cup match against Belgium.

Trump was caught on camera admitting, “I didn’t know what that meant.”

He confessed to not thinking much of the red card initially but later realized its significance when he learned that it meant Balogun couldn’t play in the next game.

Burnett was surprised by Trump’s admission, saying, “I mean, can we just take a pause to be like, he actually didn’t even know what a red card was, right? So somebody told him about it and, ‘Oh, I guess I’ll just call my buddy, you know, who gave me the peace prize.’

It’s worth noting that FIFA’s President Gianna Infantino, who awarded Trump the Peace Prize, is a known ally of the president.
