Google has officially introduced the Pixel Care+ service in the UK, following its initial launch in the US almost a year ago. This service replaces the company’s Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection plans, offering enhanced damage coverage for Pixel devices.

Initially launched on 27 August, 2025, Pixel Care+ is now available for UK customers. This service ensures same-day repairs using authentic parts for Google devices, with quick replacements if necessary, typically shipping the next working day.

Customers who opt for Pixel Care+ can make unlimited damage claims for drops, spills, and more, with a small excess fee. The service also includes unlimited glass repairs and battery replacements at no additional charge. Additionally, mechanical and electrical breakdowns beyond the standard warranty period are covered.

For those looking to add loss and theft coverage, Pixel Care+ allows up to three claims per year. The service extends to Pixel phones, watches, and Fitbit wearables, offering comprehensive protection for a fixed price.

The pricing for Pixel Care+ plans starts at £4.99 per month or £99 upfront for two years of basic cover on a Pixel phone. Adding loss and theft coverage increases the price to £6.99 per month or £129 upfront, with excess fees for damage and loss/theft claims.

Pixel Watch devices have similar monthly costs, while Fitbit wearables are covered for £15 for two years with a £15 excess fee. It is important to note that Pixel Care+ coverage must be added within 60 days of purchasing an eligible new device from the Google Store.
