Body of missing Kentucky student found after weekslong search: Police
The community of Covington, Kentucky, was rocked by the tragic news of the discovery of the body of missing Northern Kentucky University student Murry Foust. The 22-year-old student had been missing since April 27, prompting a widespread search effort by the Covington Police Department and concerned citizens.
Foust was last seen alive in the Latonia neighborhood of Covington, just nine miles south of Cincinnati. The Covington Police Department issued an alert about Foust’s disappearance on April 30, urging the public to come forward with any information that could help locate the missing student.
After nearly a month of searching, an independently organized search party made a heartbreaking discovery in the nearby city of Wilder. Foust’s body was found at the site of an old steel plant, a grim end to the search for the missing student. The Campbell County Coroner’s Office will determine the official cause and manner of death, but at this time, there is no evidence of foul play.
