A shocking incident occurred in the Loop on Friday afternoon when a man sexually assaulted a woman walking on the sidewalk. However, the situation took a surprising turn when another woman intervened by stabbing the assailant in the eye, ultimately stopping the attack. Amidst the chaos, a 36-year-old woman at the scene brandished a knife and stabbed the suspect in his right eye. Additionally, she accidentally cut the intervening man on his left wrist, causing further injuries.

All parties involved, including the sexual assault victim and the two men, were promptly taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
