Cheerios, Oreo, Mountain Dew roll out patriotic products for America’s 250th

Major Food Companies Release Limited-Edition Patriotic Products for America’s 250th Birthday

As the United States gears up for the 250th birthday celebrations this summer, several well-known food companies are joining the festivities by launching special limited-edition patriotic-themed products.

Cheerios, Coca-Cola, Mountain Dew, and Oreo are just a few of the iconic American brands unveiling unique items to mark the country’s semiquincentennial anniversary, as reported by Allrecipes.com.

Cheerios will introduce a birthday cake-flavored cereal in a commemorative red, white, and blue box, set to be available on shelves early this summer.

The new cereal has a vanilla cake flavor and includes red, white, and blue sprinkles made without artificial coloring, in line with the brand’s initiative to eliminate all FD&C dyes from cereals by summer, as reported by Allrecipes.

Coca-Cola is fully embracing the celebration with limited-edition America250 packaging, featuring custom bottles and Coca-Cola’s first-ever America250 collectible mini-cans.

Mountain Dew has temporarily rebranded itself as “American Dew” in honor of the semiquincentennial, with American flag-themed labels and packaging.

Oreo has also joined the anniversary festivities with the launch of its Firecracker Pop cookie, a collaboration with Popsicle, featuring blue raspberry, lemon, and cherry-flavored creme sandwiched between golden cookies.

Steak ‘n Shake made a splash earlier in the year with its $2.50 Statue of Liberty milkshake, blending vanilla ice cream with birthday cake and topping it with whipped cream, patriotic sprinkles, and a dark chocolate Statue of Liberty, as previously reported by Fox News Digital.
