Courtney Stodden is undergoing breast reduction surgery tomorrow, and the operation holds significant meaning for the model.
In an emotional Instagram post today, Courtney reflected on the emotional scars left from her marriage at 16 to actor Doug Hutchison, who was 35 years her senior. She mentioned that the ceremony took place 15 years ago in Vegas, where the marriage was legally permitted with parental consent.

As reported by TMZ, Courtney is opting to downsize her breasts, stating, “For the first time in my life, my body feels like it belongs to me instead of the public that consumed it before I even became a woman.”
A source close to Courtney revealed that while she is reducing the size of her breasts, they will still be sizable but more manageable. Courtney had initially gotten implants in 2013 at the age of 18 to feel more like a woman and not a child amidst her traumatic experiences.
