David Harbour Reunites With Stranger Things Cast After Drama
David Harbour Reunites with Stranger Things Costars at Recent Events
After more than six months of absence from public events, David Harbour finally reunited with several of his Stranger Things costars at two recent gatherings. The actor, 51, joined Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, and Jamie Campbell Bower at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations Presents Stranger Things event on May 21. The same group, along with creators Matt and Ross Duffer and director Shawn Levy, also attended Netflix’s Stranger Things Emmys FYSEE Event at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. However, Millie Bobby Brown was notably absent from both occasions.
Stranger Things, which first premiered in 2016, captivated audiences with its supernatural storyline set in a fictional town. Despite its popularity, the show was known for its long breaks between seasons and lengthy episodes. Season 5 marked the conclusion of the series almost a decade after its initial premiere.
Allegations and Reconciliation
In November 2025, reports surfaced claiming that Brown, 22, had filed a harassment and bullying claim against Harbour before filming the last season of Stranger Things. The complaint alleged that Brown had been bullied and harassed by Harbour on set, though it did not involve accusations of sexual misconduct. Despite these claims, Brown and Harbour presented a united front at the Stranger Things season 5 premiere, with Brown expressing her trust and comfort in working with Harbour.
Resurfacing at Events
Harbour, who had been navigating a public divorce from wife Lily Allen at the time, faced scrutiny for his behavior in public. Following these incidents, he withdrew from several scheduled appearances and dropped out of a leading role in the movie Behemoth! In a previous interview, Harbour emphasized his desire to protect his personal life from sensationalized rumors and did not engage with the “hysterical hyperbole” surrounding his actions.
Looking Ahead
Despite the challenges faced off-screen, the cast of Stranger Things continues to showcase their camaraderie at public events. As they bid farewell to the beloved series, fans can appreciate the dedication and hard work put into bringing the show to a satisfying conclusion. The reunion of Harbour and his costars serves as a testament to the bonds formed during their time working together on the iconic show.
