Exodus (EXOD) Announces Official UFC Deal And Exodus Pay

Exodus Movement, a leading financial application company co-founded by JP Richardson, made a groundbreaking announcement at the Exodus Summit in Omaha, Nebraska. Richardson revealed that Exodus is set to become the official payments partner of the UFC, with the partnership scheduled to go live on June 1.

This partnership comes at a significant time as the UFC is hosting its “Freedom 250” fight event on the White House lawn to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. This event marks the first UFC event to be held on the White House grounds, and Exodus branding will be prominently featured inside the octagon, in broadcast spots, and through various activation footprints at the venue.

Richardson emphasized that the partnership with UFC is not just about brand exposure but also about building trust. He highlighted that trust is a crucial factor for a financial application, and the UFC’s extensive reach of 700 million fans across 165 countries will play a vital role in accelerating trust-building for Exodus.

The multi-year deal with UFC targets a demographic of crypto-curious, young, and digitally native individuals who align with Exodus’s vision. Richardson emphasized that this partnership signifies a significant step in the company’s evolution.

At the Exodus Summit, Ain Sonayen, Chief Product Officer, introduced Exodus Pay, a revolutionary money platform that redefines the concept of a wallet. Sonayen declared that a wallet is no longer just a starting point but rather a part of a comprehensive money platform or “money OS.”

Exodus Pay offers three core experiences – stablecoin cash for everyday spending, crypto for ownership, and expanded utility for sophisticated users. Available across all 50 states, Exodus Pay allows users to fund the app via Apple Pay, bank transfer, or existing crypto balances. The platform ensures self-custody of funds, providing users with control over their assets.

Sonayen highlighted the revenue model of Exodus Pay, focusing on maintaining balances within the ecosystem to drive revenue. The platform offers rewards in various assets, including Bitcoin, and facilitates seamless spending and peer-to-peer transactions.

CFO James Gernetzke expressed enthusiasm about Exodus Pay, emphasizing its recurring, scalable, and fully-owned nature. The launch of Exodus Pay marks a significant shift in Exodus’s business model, setting the stage for a new era of financial innovation.

With its bold partnerships and innovative products, Exodus Movement is poised to revolutionize the financial landscape and provide users with a seamless and secure money platform experience.
