Homeless maniac arrested in bloody Penn Station rampage

A homeless man was arrested for a violent stabbing incident at Penn Station on Sunday evening, leaving five innocent bystanders injured. The suspect, identified as Hector Deleon, 51, carried out the unprovoked attack inside the New Jersey Transit boarding area, causing chaos and panic among commuters.

Deleon, who is believed to be homeless, has a prior arrest in New Jersey in May on assault and narcotics charges. The victims of the stabbing ranged in age from 30 to 60 and were all men who were attacked by Deleon with a knife. The victims were simply bystanders who found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The brutal attack occurred just hours before President Trump’s scheduled arrival at Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of the Knicks’ NBA Finals appearance against the San Antonio Spurs. The incident left the station with blood stains on the floor, and first responders were quick to assist the injured victims.

Commuters at Penn Station expressed shock and concern over the attack, with many calling for increased security measures in the busy transit hub. The incident has raised questions about safety and security, especially for solo travelers and families using public transportation.

Sanai Rashid, 21, commented on the lack of surprise at the incident, citing the reputation of Penn Station as not being the safest area, especially during busy times. Marina Berger, 21, voiced her fear as a young woman traveling alone, emphasizing the need for better security measures.

Emma, 30, a dental hygienist with her 7-year-old son, Leonardo, expressed hesitation about using the subway in light of the stabbing incident. The incident has prompted concerns about safety on public transportation and the need for increased security presence to protect commuters.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of public safety measures and vigilance in crowded transit areas. Authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack and working to ensure the safety of commuters in the aftermath of the violent incident at Penn Station.
