In a shocking and gruesome crime, Trevor John Huber, 43, was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole for the brutal murder of his 63-year-old mother, Charlotte Wilson, in their home in Cardwell, Missouri. The incident, which occurred on December 21, 2018, left the small rural town in shock.

Huber’s erratic behavior was evident when he called 911 in the early hours of the morning, requesting an officer to come to the house. When the police arrived, they were met by a naked and disoriented Huber, who appeared to be under the influence of illegal narcotics.

Upon entering the house, the police discovered the horrific scene of Wilson’s decapitated body, with the murder weapons, a bloody knife, and hammer left on the kitchen table. Huber was immediately arrested at the scene.
