Naseeruddin Shah, Jim Sarbh Series ‘Made in India’ Sets June Premiere
Amazon MX Player has announced the premiere date of “Made in India: A Titan Story,” a captivating six-part drama that delves into the founding and success story of Indian watchmaker Titan. The series is set to debut on June 3 and will be available exclusively for free on the platform.
Based on Vinay Kamath’s book “Titan: India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand,” the series takes viewers back to pre-liberalized India to witness the journey of Xerxes Desai, the founding managing director of Titan, as he strives to establish a homegrown watch brand with the guidance of J.R.D. Tata, the esteemed chair of the Tata Group. The star-studded cast includes Naseeruddin Shah portraying Tata, and Jim Sarbh taking on the role of Desai. Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Namita Dubey, Lakshvir Saran, and Kaveri Seth also join the ensemble. Karan Vyas penned the series, with direction by Robbie Grewal. Almighty Motion Pictures serves as the production house for the project.
