Romy Mars Says Babysitter Gave Her Weed When She Was Just 11 Years Old

Sofia Coppola‘s daughter Romy Mars is opening up about her upbringing as the daughter of the renowned director… and some of the revelations are quite surprising.

Responding to a TikTok user’s jest that Romy’s life was scripted by Sofia, Romy discloses that she was primarily raised by babysitters, whom she refers to as “many different women in their 20s”. Shockingly, one of these babysitters allegedly offered her marijuana when she was just 11 years old!

Romy, now 19, recalls how one babysitter suggested they smoke together before bedtime.

Romy recalls, “We smoked together on the fire escape and talked about her boyfriend’s mommy issues until I fell asleep.”

This revelation comes shortly after Sofia publicly endorsed her daughter’s online content.

Sofia described Romy’s online persona as entertaining and enjoyable, stating, “She’s a performer in a way that’s really fun for me to see.”
