Spencer Pratt Admits He Plans on Leaving L.A. If He Loses Mayoral Race
Spencer Pratt, known for his role on “The Hills,” is considering leaving Los Angeles if he doesn’t succeed in his bid to become the city’s mayor. In a recent interview with comedian Adam Carolla, Pratt expressed his plans to relocate if he fails to advance in the mayoral race.
“If Karen Bass gets reelected or Nithya gets elected, I will be done with trying to live in LA,” Pratt said candidly. He emphasized his desire to raise his children in a safer and more stable environment, away from what he described as “naked zombies.”
Pratt also mentioned tying his campaign vision to a potential legal victory, stating that he plans to win a lawsuit against Gavin Newsom’s state park. He believes that the outcome of the lawsuit could help fund his rebuilding plans for the city if he were to be elected mayor.
Despite facing scrutiny for staying at the Hotel Bel-Air instead of living on the site of his destroyed home, Pratt remains dedicated to his mayoral campaign. He has been spotted wearing Pratt L.A. branded mayoral merchandise and campaigning tirelessly, even attending the Ronda Rousey versus Gina Carano fight with an “I voted” sticker.
However, not everyone is convinced of Pratt’s candidacy. Comedian Chelsea Handler recently criticized him on Instagram, pointing out his lack of government experience as a straight, white male former reality star. Handler’s comments have sparked an online battle with Pratt, highlighting the challenges he faces in establishing credibility as a legitimate candidate for mayor.
As the mayoral race heats up, Pratt’s future in Los Angeles hangs in the balance. Whether he emerges victorious or not, one thing is clear – Spencer Pratt is determined to make a difference in the city he calls home.
