Tesla road-rager sentenced to seven years in prison after attacking mom and teen in Hawaii

A man known as the “Tesla Road Rage Driver” has been sentenced to seven years in prison for a violent road rage attack in Hawaii. Nathaniel Radimak was convicted in connection with an incident involving a mother and her 18-year-old daughter in Honolulu in 2025.

During sentencing, Radimak admitted his actions, stating, “I take accountability. I just feel bad about it. It shouldn’t have happened, but I really need a certain kind of treatment that is being prolonged and farther away. It’s not helping me, but I take accountability.”

Radimak faced charges of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and two counts of third-degree assault. He entered a plea of no contest earlier this year. The judge, Clarissa Malinao, highlighted Radimak’s failure to seek necessary medical care and continued substance abuse while on parole for previous convictions.

The history of violence and propensity for violence, along with Radimak’s voluntary intoxication and discontinuation of medication, were cited as factors that increase the risk of danger to himself and the public. This led to the conclusion that Radimak poses a significant threat to public safety.

The 39-year-old was arrested after assaulting an 18-year-old woman and her mother in May 2025. The altercation occurred when the teen was parking downtown and had a verbal exchange with Radimak, who then physically assaulted both victims before fleeing the scene in a 2022 gray Tesla with Oregon license plates.

Radimak’s arrest came shortly after his release from prison, where he served less than a year of a five-year sentence for a series of violent road rage incidents in Southern California. In 2023, he pleaded guilty to assault, vandalism, elder abuse, and making criminal threats.

Known for driving a Tesla and using a pipe to attack the vehicles of his victims, Radimak had a history of targeting female drivers. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation granted him credit for time served while awaiting sentencing in his previous case.

The sentencing of Radimak serves as a reminder of the dangers of road rage and the importance of seeking help for underlying issues that may contribute to violent behavior. It also underscores the need for accountability and rehabilitation in addressing such offenses.
