Tribeca Festival Announces TV and Podcast Lineup, Spotlights ‘Survivor 50’

The 2026 Tribeca Festival is gearing up to showcase an exciting lineup of television and podcast events, set to take place from June 3–14 in New York City. This 25th edition of the annual festival promises a diverse array of world premieres, live tapings, and exclusive conversations that are sure to captivate audiences.

One of the standout events at this year’s festival is the special ‘Survivor 50’ panel, featuring popular players such as Cirie Fields, Rob Cesternino, Kyle Fraser, Kamilla Karthigesu, Teeny Chirichillo, and Jonathan Penner. These seasoned veterans of the competition show will come together to reflect on the legacy of ‘Survivor’ in a unique and engaging discussion.

In addition to the ‘Survivor 50’ panel, attendees can look forward to a live conversation with musician Alejandro Sanz in anticipation of his documentary “Alejandro Sanz: When No One Sees Me.” Furthermore, Ronan Farrow will present an HBO double feature with “Not A Very Good Murderer” and “The Palladino Files,” created in collaboration with Emmy Award-winning filmmakers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato.

Television enthusiasts will be treated to the world premieres of several highly anticipated shows, including FX’s “Adults” Season 2, Netflix’s final season of “Survival of the Thickest” with Michelle Buteau, Hulu’s “Alice and Steve” starring Jemaine Clement and Nicola Walker, “Every Year After” featuring Elisha Cuthbert, and the BBC’s “Dear England” with Joseph Fiennes.

In keeping with Tribeca’s tradition of honoring the September 11 attacks, the festival will also premiere Nat Geo’s “9/11: Reunited,” along with documentary series “Grandmasters” and HBO’s “The Man Will Burn.” The Indie TV showcase will feature standout shows such as “CVNT,” “Switch” starring Pauline Chalamet and Coral Peña, and “Kevin’s Series of Unfortunate Events.” The documentary showcase will include “Free Help” from Tribeca alum Bianca Giaever and “The Little Cult That Could.”

Expanding its reach, the 2026 Tribeca Festival will feature its largest podcast lineup to date, including Spanish-language programming for the first time. Highlights include live tapings of popular podcasts such as The New York Times’ “Cannonball” with Wesley Morris, Vox Media’s “On with Kara Swisher” featuring comedian Marc Maron, Slate’s “Death, Sex & Money” with host Anna Sale joined by Peter Dinklage and Erica Schmidt, and WNYC’s “The New Yorker Radio Hour” with David Remnick.

Notable events at the festival will include the first-ever live episode of “Fashion Neurosis with Bella Freud,” a celebration of musician Hrishikesh Hirway’s new album “In the Last Hour of Light” on “Song Exploder,” and an immersive live show from WNYC’s Radiolab Live with hosts Latif Nasser and Lulu Miller.

World premieres to look out for include “The Fastest Girl in Somalia” from ESPN’s 30 for 30 Podcasts, and the fifth season of Lava For Good’s “Bone Valley.”
