Tiernan scores twice as Angel City outlasts Spirit 4-3

Angel City secured a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Washington Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League, thanks to Riley Tiernan’s late heroics. Tiernan scored her second goal of the match in the eighth minute of second-half stoppage time, clinching the win for her team in dramatic fashion.
The match started with Tiernan opening the scoring in the eighth minute with a clinical finish from the center of the box.
