Fans egged Eagles coordinator Kevin Patullo’s home after loss to Bears
The Philadelphia Eagles faced a humiliating incident over the weekend when fans threw eggs at the home of offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo after a disappointing loss to the Bears. The video of the incident went viral on social media, causing a stir among football fans.
Local police are currently investigating the incident, which has raised concerns about the behavior of fans towards members of the Eagles organization. The 44-year-old Patullo has been under fire as the Eagles offense has struggled this season, despite having one of the highest-paid offenses in the NFL.
Led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, the Eagles offense ranks in the bottom third of the league in various categories, including total yards, passing yards, rushing yards, and scoring. This underperformance has led to tension within the team and negative headlines surrounding star players like A.J. Brown and Saquon Barkley.
Head coach Nick Sirianni has publicly supported Patullo and reiterated that the offensive coordinator will continue to call plays for the team. Despite the mounting pressure, the Eagles are still leading the NFC East with an 8-4 record and are focused on making a strong playoff run to defend their Super Bowl title.
Meanwhile, Patullo, who previously served as the Jets’ quarterbacks coach, joined the Eagles in 2021 as a passing game coordinator before being promoted to offensive coordinator. He took over the role from Kellen Moore, who is now the head coach of the New Orleans Saints.
As the Eagles navigate through a challenging season, both on and off the field, it remains to be seen how they will address the issues within the team and bounce back from the recent controversy surrounding Patullo’s home. The team is determined to overcome adversity and make a strong push towards the playoffs under the leadership of Sirianni and Patullo.
