18-year-old suspect arrested in Santa Monica Pier shooting
An 18-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting incident at Santa Monica Pier over the weekend. Jaysawn Williams, a resident of Rialto in San Bernardino County, was apprehended after seeking medical treatment at a local hospital for a graze wound sustained during the incident. He has been charged with assault with a firearm and grossly negligent discharge of a firearm by the Santa Monica Police Department.
