Accused Gilgo Beach, New York, serial killer Rex Heuermann may be considering changing his plea to guilty and confessing to the murders at his upcoming court appearance, according to sources familiar with the case as reported by ABC News.

Maureen Brainard-Barnes met a tragic end in 2007 near Gilgo Beach, while Megan Waterman, Melissa Barthelemy, and Amber Lynn Costello were victims of Heuermann’s alleged crimes between 2009 and 2010, with their bodies also located near Gilgo Beach.
