Ex-Trump Official Says Ballroom Project Is A Gift To Dems

In a scathing critique, former Homeland Security official Miles Taylor criticized President Donald Trump’s extravagant $400-million ballroom as a ‘vanity project’ that will only benefit Democrats in the upcoming elections. Taylor emphasized that Trump’s focus on building a lavish ballroom is a political gift to the opposing party, providing them with ammunition to use against Republicans.

Taylor highlighted the absurdity of Trump’s project, pointing out that the president demolished part of the White House East Wing to make room for the ballroom. Trump has been promoting the ballroom as “drone proof,” using the recent shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to justify the need for such a facility.
