Breaking the Cycle: The Tragic Legacy of Helen Clark
At Brownstone Worldwide, we often share stories of triumph and community growth. But today, our hearts are heavy as we honor one of our own. We are mourning the loss of Helen Clark, a woman described by those who knew her as “love in human form.”

Helen was a light in every room, known for her kindness, her generous spirit, and the warmth she extended to everyone who knew her in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tragically, that light was extinguished far too soon by domestic violence.
A Heartbreaking Echo
This loss is made even more poignant by a devastating piece of family history. Helen’s mother, also named Helen Clark, was taken from her family in a similarly tragic way in May 2005, killed by Tommy Wells. For the Clark family, this isn’t just a loss; it is a recurring nightmare.
The “legacy” here is one of unimaginable pain, but it is also a call to action. We must break the cycle. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens when a community wraps its arms around those who are hurting.

How You Can Help
The family, is currently organizing a memorial fund to help cover funeral expenses and honor Helen’s beautiful life. We want Helen to be remembered for the light she gave, not the violence that took her.
Please consider supporting the family through their GoFundMe page here.
