The first attack occurred near Wabash Avenue and Roosevelt Road, where Turley allegedly approached a 67-year-old man and began yelling before unleashing a violent assault with the nail-studded board. Following the initial attack, Turley reportedly continued his rampage by menacing pedestrians on Michigan Avenue.
