Alan Jackson’s Farewell Concert to Be Filmed for NBC Special

Country music legend Alan Jackson’s final concert, scheduled for June 29 in Nashville, is set to be captured on film for an upcoming NBC special titled “Alan Jackson: The Last Show.” The network made the announcement on Thursday, revealing that the special will air later in 2026.

Directed by Sam Wrench, known for his work on projects like “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” and the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special,” the special promises to be a fitting tribute to Jackson’s illustrious career. While NBC has not disclosed the guest stars for the televised event, the live concert boasts an impressive lineup including Lainey Wilson, George Strait, Luke Combs, and many more.

This landmark show will be one of the first endeavors from Joan of Arc StudioWorks, a new production company founded by former UMG Nashville CEO Cindy Mabe. With a team of experienced producers at the helm, including Mabe, Dawn Gates, and Harper Grae, the special is sure to be a memorable celebration of Jackson’s music.

The concert, titled “Last Call: One More for the Road — The Finale,” will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, with tickets already sold out. Following its NBC premiere, the special will be available for streaming on Peacock the next day.

At 67 years old, Jackson recently wrapped up his “Last Call: One More for the Road Tour,” marking the end of his regular touring schedule. The iconic singer revealed in 2021 that he has been battling Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a degenerative nerve condition, for over a decade. Despite his health challenges, Jackson remains a revered figure in country music, with a string of accolades including 17 CMA Awards and 22 ACM Awards.

As fans eagerly anticipate Jackson’s farewell concert and the accompanying NBC special, it’s clear that his legacy as a country music icon will continue to resonate for years to come. Stay tuned for more updates on this historic event.
