Fox Promotes Seana Sullivan to Senior VP of Corporate Communications
Seana Sullivan, a seasoned PR executive, has recently been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications for Fox Corp. This promotion now places her in charge of overseeing all communications activities for Tubi Media Group, Fox’s digital business portfolio, and technology teams under Tubi chief, Paul Cheesbrough. Sullivan will be reporting to Lauren Townsend, Fox’s Executive Vice President of Communications.
Cheesbrough, who also serves as the CEO of Tubi Media Group, praised Sullivan for her exceptional leadership skills, particularly in the areas of product, content, and brand communications. He commended her for transforming innovative ideas into successful cultural moments at Tubi. Sullivan initially joined Tubi in 2023 as the Vice President of Communications and Publicity, and has since played a significant role in the platform’s rapid growth by refining its content strategy and embracing creators as key content contributors.
In her new role, Sullivan will not only be responsible for communications within Tubi but will also oversee communications for other Fox entities such as the Fox One streamer, Red Seat Ventures creator development platform, AdRise technology unit, and Credible consumer finance platform. Sullivan’s wealth of experience in the industry includes five years of PR and social media marketing work for the Roku subscription platform before joining Fox. Notably, Fox Corp. recently made headlines with its acquisition of Roku for a staggering $22 billion.
Sullivan’s promotion to Senior VP of Corporate Communications signifies Fox Corp.’s commitment to enhancing its communication strategies and storytelling across its various digital platforms and business ventures. Her expertise and leadership are set to play a pivotal role in shaping and sharing Fox’s narrative of growth, creativity, and innovation in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
