NASCAR great Kyle Busch was coughing up blood day before he died, 911 call says
NASCAR champion Kyle Busch tragically passed away after being hospitalized for a severe illness. A day before his death, he was coughing up blood and experiencing shortness of breath at a GM facility in North Carolina, as revealed in a 911 call obtained by ABC News.
The 911 caller requested an ambulance for Busch, who was feeling very hot and on the verge of passing out. He was found on the bathroom floor, coughing up blood. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and Busch was transported to a hospital in Charlotte.
Busch’s family later announced that he was undergoing treatment and would not be able to compete in the upcoming race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Tragically, they confirmed his passing at the age of 41, describing him as a once-in-a-generation talent who was fiercely passionate about the sport.
Busch had an illustrious career in NASCAR, winning the Cup Series twice and setting records for national series wins. He was known for his skill and dedication to the sport, earning the respect of fans and fellow competitors alike. NASCAR mourned the loss of a true legend, gone too soon.
Tributes to Busch were displayed outside Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he was scheduled to race in the Coca Cola 600. The racing community came together to honor his memory and legacy.
