RHOM’s Lisa Hochstein Speaks Out as Spying Charge Is Dropped

Former Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein recently shared her relief after the charges in her and boyfriend Jody Glidden’s eavesdropping case were dropped. In an Instagram Story post, Hochstein expressed her gratitude for putting the legal ordeal behind her and her family. She emphasized that the charges should never have been brought against them in the first place and that she is finally free from the burden that has affected them tremendously.

The Bravo star and Glidden were arrested in April on charges related to her ex-husband, Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein. They were accused of attempting to secretly record oral statements by Lenny and those he spoke with between March 12 and March 31, 2023.

Their spokesperson had previously stated that the matter was part of a contentious divorce proceeding and did not belong in criminal court. The criminal case against Hochstein and Glidden was officially closed after they completed a pretrial diversion program. Hochstein finished the program on June 18, while Glidden completed it on June 16.

Their attorneys confirmed the dismissal of charges, stating that they were pleased with the outcome and that Hochstein and Glidden could now move forward with their lives. The couple had reached an agreement with prosecutors to resolve charges of interception of wire, oral, or electronic communications without prosecution. The charges were dismissed without any admission of guilt or conviction.

The pretrial diversion program offered by the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office provided an alternative to prosecution for the RHOM stars. The program allows offenders with non-violent priors to avoid criminal conviction by completing all conditions and remaining arrest-free during participation.
