Zuckerberg seen as next to join trillionaire club, say Kalshi traders

Elon Musk made headlines recently as he became the world’s first trillionaire, thanks to his stake in SpaceX after the company went public on June 12. Now, speculation is rife about who could be the next trillionaire, with Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, emerging as a top contender.

According to prediction market traders on Kalshi, Zuckerberg has a 32% chance of becoming the world’s second trillionaire. Currently estimated to have a net worth of just under $200 billion by Forbes, Zuckerberg would need his wealth to quadruple in order to achieve this milestone. However, the contracts related to this prediction on Kalshi expire by 2033, indicating that time is of the essence for Zuckerberg to reach this goal.

Following closely behind Zuckerberg is Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, with a 21% chance of reaching a 13-digit net worth. Despite his current net worth being slightly above $180 billion, Huang is seen as a strong contender for the title of trillionaire. Other notable figures in the running include Michael Dell, CEO of Dell Technologies, with a 6% chance of joining the trillionaire club, despite his net worth being higher than Zuckerberg’s or Huang’s at $240 billion.

While the odds may seem slim, previous research suggests that there could be multiple trillionaires in the near future. An Oxfam report from January 2025 predicted that within a decade, there could be as many as five trillionaires in the world.

It’s important to note that CNBC and Kalshi have a commercial relationship, including customer acquisition and a minority investment. As the world watches and waits to see who will be the next trillionaire, the race is on for these tech moguls to reach this unprecedented financial milestone.
