Texas mom’s final moments before twisted sisters Kitty and Cookie allegedly hacked her to death revealed
The brutal and senseless murder of Caroline “Caro” Peña in Del Rio, Texas has left the community in shock and mourning. The 32-year-old mother of five was attacked in broad daylight by three young women – Kitty Mia Diaz, Amaya Cookie Diaz, and Kyandra Renee Faz – who are now facing murder charges and are being held on a combined $15 million bail.
According to a friend of Peña, Zelina Ochoa, the attack was vicious and relentless. Peña fought back with all her might, refusing to back down even as blood soaked through her shirt. A chilling photo taken during the attack circulated on social media, showing Peña standing up to her attackers with nothing but her bare hands.
Peña, described as a devoted mother to her children, aged 17 to 3, two of whom have special needs, was not going to go down without a fight. Ochoa recalled how Peña collapsed but then stood back up, showing incredible strength and determination in the face of danger.
The attack took place at a busy intersection in Del Rio, with witnesses shocked by the sudden and violent nature of the assault. Peña’s tragic death has left many questioning the motive behind the attack, as she was known to be a peaceful and loving person who avoided drama and conflict.
As Peña’s friends and family try to make sense of the senseless act of violence, they are left with the heartbreaking reality of her absence in the lives of her children. A GoFundMe has been set up to support Peña’s children, who are now left without their beloved mother.
The three suspects are currently in custody, awaiting trial for their alleged involvement in Peña’s murder. The Del Rio Police Department has not yet released a motive for the attack, leaving many unanswered questions in the wake of this tragic event.
Peña’s friend, Ochoa, remembers her as a devoted mother who made parenting look easy and whose children adored her. The loss of Peña has left a void in the lives of those who knew her, and justice for her death can never replace the love and care she provided to her family.
